At Home Cellulite Treatment - A Version Of Cupping

I've seen some very odd at-home cellulite treatments. One that really comes to mind is a treatment based on Chinese cupping, except adapted to home use. It used small glass cups, which the forum poster (where I read about it) kindly offered to sell to people when they inquired - after she raved how effective this treatment had been for her. I have to say, it was a very clever marketing ploy. The only reason anyone came to question it was when she suddenly offered a website, after a lot of discussion on the forum. And when I checked who the website was registered to, it was a private registration. She reckoned she just put it up in response to the many inquiries she received, but if this were true, you wouldn't go to the trouble and additional expense of a private registration.

One woman wrote in to point out the similarities with what this woman suggested, which was a kind of suction cup technique, and Chinese cupping, which is a traditional therapy that really isn't suited to at home cellulite treatments. It's a bit hard to get the right suction, as you use heat to create a vacuum under ther glass, and there is no massage, you just leave it there to do its thing. The Chinese say it's good for shifting stagnation, so this, and indeed the strange cupping technique, may have some merit. Just a shame about the way that woman went about promoting her wares.
